Escape Game Gent (13:00 – 15:30)

Finally! You have arrived in Gent. But what about escaping it again? Grasp this unique opportunity to enjoy some daylight and come and join us for a city game in the heart of Gent and discover some less well-known places.

Bring a smartphone, your friends and get ready to team up (or down?!)

Place to meet: Walter de Buckplein. Exact location TBA (here and on information wall during the festival)

Bouldering (15:30 – 18:00)

Is climbing among dancers only a hype in Belgium or is this a standard everywhere? Who joins Ellen for some nice bouldering in Gent? She will take you to one of the biggest bouldering rooms in Belgium where we don’t climb any higher than 3 meter so ropes and harnesses are not necessary (climbing-walls are also available though). You can rent climbing shoes that will make you invincible at the venue. This activity is open for practiced climbers and total beginners. Together we will find the best routes to go up.

Museum Visit WHAT? (F)arting in a loony bin (13:00 – 15:30)

On Jitterbugs, Melancholics and Mad-Doctors. Upside down… Madness deranges, it throws us off balance, and makes us lose our footing. It leads us to the edge of normality. But where does the norm end and chaos begin? And who decides where to draw the line? Enter the void with an ominous sound of the loved and unloved music of exceptional artists. Enter the hall of mirrors of the distorted note, the wild universe of expression and unfiltered sound. The unheard and the unheard of. This visit together with Aron & Hanne will throw you out of your carefully trained balance. Sprouted out of their love for the (f)arts they invite you to a museum on the outskirts of Ghent in what used to be a madhouse. Nowadays it’s an art museum and next to it there is the modern day psychiatric center. Be prepared to see not only art, but also the late 18th – early 19th century collection of instruments of coercion used in the Ghent madhouse.

Pubcrawl & Christmas Market (15:30 – 18:00)

We claim to have the best beers of the world and to have cozy bars in Gent. We are of course all convinced and fucking proud of it. You will be guided by several local dancers in small groups through the Christmas market to their favourite bars. Be prepared, this will be so memorable.

Walk to hidden outskirts→ WHAT?: A healthy remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins that have already been forgiven (13:00 – 15:30)

To recuperate from their mad farting explorations into loony houses, now and then they think about their health. So Hanne and Aron decided to go for a long walk to ease their body, soul, mind and digestive system. We’ll try to get a golden ticket to heaven by visiting an old beguinage (yes, we had to use google translate for this) and the ruins of an abbey.
